On facebook on orkut for business or some fun

And everyone from friends to all are aware

That they only can so very much bare

       Unconnected friends unconnecting

       Profiles all around away fading

With to manage — able none

       No simple single way

       Without some horseplay

       To move to

       Many due

To one

Dedicated to Robert Scoble
The means, and Plaxo, not quite noble —
For elevating the conversation
Of social network aggregation,
As well as social network data portability…
For this I, and we, appreciate his popularity.

Flip A Coin: Decide for Me

together

equals crowdsourced harmony helping me make decisions more easily

stuck

and what better way than to create that togethered crowd than the one where the chatter’s most loud, a crowdsourced twitter decision machine — wonderfully simple tool for when you are stuck in between

Undecided[1] flip a coin
I cannot decide
which way is up
or where flows the tide

the crowd they do roar
I do hear them say
go this go that —-
together we shall find the way

StumbleUpon: Tripping Thumbs

up

the thumbs of likes and dislikes central to the stumbleupon experience allow one to trip around the internet, the feeling captured within this work, and too evoked in the real world by the travails of stumbleupon

down

for some time stumbleupon appeared to me a ship without a port, aimlessly, listlessly, floating around … made all the more worse and evident when their purchaser, ebay, in 2008, sought, after years of neglect, to get rid of it

Inevitable stumble leads to stumble more
From stumble to stumble random and new
A tangled web in motion, blinking
Upon such a sea of flash movie boats
Upon among sales and other frank thoughts
Upon and along with the mish and with mash
Stumbles compelled by those who do
Upon folks curious and much spare time too

Today’s Web Laureate Insight to Tuesday’s poem…

CuteFund: adorable

Let

can you let go? let go of your money to the inherent wisdom of the self-selected crowd? can the crowd really be wise, or just act as a way to make savings less

Go

or will you simply be reduced to a nattering pudgy boo of goo curled up in the corner, stressed from loss of control, bills, too, by this uniquely crowdsourced mutual fund

in the corner there is pooky
wiggle wiggle jiggle too
smirk and giggle, puff and purr
oh, that is my pooky

changed into that pudgy boo
when those silly willy bills grew few
thanks to that foofy crew
of soupy crowdsourced boo-boo

Apple: Pushing around MobileMe

here

at this time it is fun to recall when it was that people yearned to be pushed about and to — mostly through, at the time, the impending data push service, mobileme

now

when people ask "did you just hang up on me" wondering or whether it’s at&t or the iphone, itself, people, at least some may so proclaim, that the once sought pushing has been quite enough, and even more may be seeking the pushing around of poor old mobile me …. to stop

I move over here
  It moves over there
I add it over here
  It adds over there
My email’s over here
  My calendar’s over there
It’s syncing over here
  Appearing over there
A little bit of push
  A little bit of pull

I can anything connect be
  With the new MobileMe

I can see it all
  I can do it all
From my Outlook
  To my P.book
A little bit of push
  A little bit of pull
From my iPhone 2.0
To my PC, ya gotta know
From any Mac over here
  To just about anywhere

Today’s Web Laureate Insight to Tuesday’s poem…

Marooned on a Beach

tragic

a most tragic recollection of events brought to slow, but focused point; pointedly stopped and derailed were these creative forming inspirations, when to enter them into my app on the cloud that could not be reached caused failure while sat, sadly inspired on the beach

less

lest you thought this was all downer, you would be right if not perhaps to the left. right on down on the left side, starting the first words of each row, you will find a message that lead to me deep dark woe — yet now, as i retell the mystery to you, i feel my better than i did previously do. the words on the left, excluding the bold, from the top to the bottom capture the words unsaid but clearly felt…. "no bandwidth for you" 😉
